Hello AMES families ,
My name is Carson Brock and for my senior project I am doing a collection of necessities for the homeless youth of Utah. In Utah 30% of the homeless are from age 15 to 21. We don't know the circumstances of why they are homeless but everyone needs a helping hand in life sometimes, and maybe our helping hand will help change their life. Myself and I am sure those in need would appreciate any offering you can make. The shelter that my collection will be going to is HOMELESS YOUTH RESOURCE CENTER @ 655 south state street. This is ran thru the Volunteers of America . Please see the list below of the things they are in most need of. There is also a very good article in the Deseret News Dec. 6th 2014 "Volunteers of America- Utah homeless Youth " that gives a lot of information on the center.
